Installation of Officers

Installation of Officers: After our board members have been voted into office they are sworn into office at Installation. It is another excuse to have a party.  At installation we also recognize the function Chairman for each event of the year.  This years installation will be hosted by Sheri Parshall at her home in Fairview. 

Adopt a Highway - Highway Clean Up

Highway Clean Up- Skiyente has adopted a section of HWY 35 from the White River up to the Meadows by pass road.  We pick up trash on the side of the highway twice a year.  We have found some real treasures over the years.  It is always a good time and usually followed up with food and drinks.

Summer Function 



Eleven wild women and 1 wild and crazy guy enjoyed a fun-filled day, sampling wines amidst Mt. Hood's sun drenched foothills.  Our caravan of two Suburbans started our tasting at Pheasant Valley Winery, then meandered through the foothills to Cathedral Ridge.  We tailgated only as Skiyente's know how with lots of snacks and good company.  From there we moved on to downtown Hood River where we visited The Pines and Naked Winery.  After visiting 4 wineries designated drivers Lark and Colleen felt like they were herding stray cats.  That's a sure sign of a good day when no one wants to leave.  But wait there's more.... we finally herded our kittens out the door and back to Government Camp were things were just heating up.   

Sally planned and Barb helped serve a wonderful prime rib dinner for us at Huckleberry Inn. Including Skiyente Members guests and significant others we had 26 reveler's amongst our ranks.
